Visite des Éditions Take5 – Jeudi 5 Novembre

Nous avons le plaisir de vous inviter à une visite des Éditions Take5, maison d'édition genevoise spécialisée dans le livre d'artiste et fondée par l'une de nos alumnae, Céline Fribourg.

Depuis plus de trente ans, Take5 conçoit chaque publication comme une œuvre à part entière, née de collaborations inédites entre artistes, écrivains, scientifiques, designers et artisans. Produits en tirages très limités, ces livres explorent les liens entre texte, image, matière et savoir-faire, en faisant dialoguer création contemporaine, design et métiers d'art. Parmi les réalisations emblématiques de la maison figure notamment un ouvrage publié en collaboration avec le Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) de New York. Les éditions Take5 sont aujourd'hui présentes dans les collections de nombreuses institutions et musées de référence à travers le monde.

Nous aurons le privilège d'être accueillis par Céline Fribourg qui nous fera découvrir les coulisses de cette aventure éditoriale singulière. Nous la remercions chaleureusement pour son accueil.

Visit to Take5 Editions – Thursday, November 5

We are delighted to invite you to a special visit to Take5 Editions, a Geneva-based publishing house founded by Céline Fribourg and dedicated to the creation of artists' books.

For more than thirty years, Take5 has conceived each publication as a work of art in its own right, bringing together artists, writers, scientists, designers, and craftspeople in unique collaborative projects. Produced in very limited editions, these books combine text, image, materiality, and craftsmanship in innovative ways. Among the publishing house's landmark achievements is an artist's book created in collaboration with the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Today, Take5 publications are held in the collections of leading museums and institutions worldwide.

We will have the pleasure of being welcomed by Céline Fribourg, founder of Take5 Editions and one of our alumni, who will introduce us to the fascinating world behind these exceptional publications. We warmly thank her for opening her doors to our alumni community.
