Florent Peyre

I am the Co-Founder and CEO of Small Door Veterinary, a membership-based veterinary care company reimagining the pet health experience with modern, hospitality-driven clinics. Since launching in Manhattan’s West Village in 2020, we’ve expanded across New York, Boston, and Washington, DC, with the mission of setting a new standard in veterinary care. Small Door has raised ~$90M to date and grown to a team of ~300 employees.

Previously, I co-founded Placemeter, an urban intelligence platform backed by NEA, Qualcomm Ventures, and Techstars, which leveraged proprietary computer vision technology to analyze pedestrian and vehicular traffic patterns in cities worldwide. Placemeter was acquired by NETGEAR.

Throughout my career, I’ve focused on building and scaling innovative companies at the intersection of technology, design, and operations. I began my career in France at Ernst & Young and later at Lagardère before moving to the United States.
