with Amb. As world leaders prepare to convene in The Hague for the 2025 NATO Summit (June 24–25), the stakes for transatlantic security and alliances are high.
With U.S. President Donald Trump returning to the stage and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte calling for a “quantum leap” in defense investment, this summit will test the Alliance’s ability to adapt to new geopolitical realities. From calls to raise defense spending targets to deepening divides over Ukraine’s future in NATO, the summit’s tone and outcomes could reshape the trajectory of the world’s largest military alliance.
This webinar will unpack the key questions driving the meeting: How will Trump’s transactional diplomacy reshape transatlantic relations? Will Europe match U.S. demands on burden-sharing? Can the Alliance maintain unity in the face of intensifying threats from Russia and growing skepticism within its own ranks?
