The Sciences Po American Foundation will host the next Club 150 Reception on Wednesday May 1st from 6:30-8:30pm, at King & Spalding's offices, overlooking the White House (1700 Pennsylvania Avenue NW # 900, Washington, DC 20006).We will hear from Beatriz Botero Arcila, assistant professor of law at Sciences Po. 2023 laureate of the Sciences Po American Foundation's Transatlantic Research Fund, her current research explores how surveillance technologies adopted to provide public security both in Europe and the US and how they interact with other public interests (i.e. civil liberties) and institutional frameworks and incentives.REGISTRATION
